Study finds sewage bacteria lurking in Hudson river sediments

The SEES Water Resources Group investigates physical, chemical, and biological aspects of hydrology to understand the distribution, quantity, and quality of surface and groundwater. Many of our studies also investigate the influence of human activities and policies on our water resources. Specific research topics include:

  • Surface and groundwater hydrology
  • Urban water quality and microbiology
  • Aquifer geochemistry and microbiology
